Guided Tours

Adventure into history with a LIVE museum tour, delivered by our knowledgeable and engaging guides. Our tours are an excellent resource for anyone wanting to build their knowledge of local and world military history.
Discover how young men and women of Saskatchewan contributed and served their country and learn about the indigenous and Metis people that enlisted and fought abroad.

Group Tours:
The museum welcomes school classes, community groups and business organizations, by appointment, to learn about the military heritage of Canada.
Group visits can be booked outside our usual hours.  Admission will be charged as usual. Note: a minimum $50 charge applies.

LIVE Virtual Tours:
Bring history and social studies to live with engaging live virtual tours. SMOMA and Kevin Hicks from the History Squad have joined forces to create a positive impact on Saskatchewan communities. Local schools, seniors’ groups and community organizations can now book a LIVE, virtual tour that will deliver an effective learning experience and enable them to connect with their heritage from the safety and comfort of their own environment.

These tours are a unique resource, and because they’re live, virtual visitors are able to engage in real-time, ask questions and see artifacts up close. Groups can book a private virtual tour of the museum with Kevin, via Zoom, GoogleMeet or other virtual video platform. Virtual tours cost $60 and last around 45-50 minutes.
